Why Volunteer?

Volunteer Opportunities:

1.) Animal Care: Assist with feeding, grooming, and exercising the animals. Provide them with love and attention, helping to socialize them and improve their well-being.

2.) Adoption Support: Help potential adopters by providing information about the animals, assisting with meet-and-greets, and sharing adoption success stories.

3.) Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks such as answering phones, data entry, organizing files, and helping with event planning.

4.) Community Outreach: Represent the shelter at adoption events, fundraisers, and community outreach programs. Help spread awareness about responsible pet ownership and the importance of adoption.

How to Get Involved:

1.) Complete an Application: Fill out our volunteer application form, providing your contact information, availability, and areas of interest.

2.) Orientation and Training: Attend a volunteer orientation session to learn more about our shelter, policies, and procedures. You'll receive training specific to your volunteer role.

3.) Start Volunteering: Once you've completed orientation and training, you can start volunteering at the shelter and making a difference in the lives of our animals.

There are many ways to help the shelter other than adopting an animal! You can donate directly to our shelter, become a volunteer, foster an animal, sponsor an adoption, donate supplies, and much more. We appreciate your willingness to help these animals in need!
